Christine Springer was originally from Hemel Hempstead. She worked as a dental nurse before qualifying in 1974 as a State Registered Nurse at Edgware General Hospital in London. Her experience is as follows: gynaecology, accident and emergency, Team Leader for the National Blood Transfusion Service, GP practice nursing and she also worked as a staff nurse at Frenchay Hospital for many years.
After training as a Collagen practitioner in the early nineties, she set up her own practice - Brunel Medical, which she has been running successfully ever since. During some of that time she worked for 'Collagen UK' training other medics to administer dermal fillers. (Collagen is not used today - hyaluronic acid is the filler of choice. It Is non animal and mimics ones own hyaluronic acid)
Christine won the South West Collagen Customer Care award in 1998, and following that attended courses on Botox and advanced filler techniques. She continually updates her knowledge and training in the latest treatments and procedures in the medical and beauty industry, committed to maintaining high safety standards and using the latest developments in skin care research. She will only use products that have been produced by ethical companies.
She featured on 'Silicone Chicks' on Discovery TV and has recently given many radio and television interviews.
Christine is passionate about her work and believes that taking time no matter how long to explain procedures in depth to her clients in order for them to be fully aware of the treatment procedures is paramount.
Christine is very well respected amongst other practitioners in the UK - because of this and her many years experience in the aesthetic industry, she is keen to share her knowlege. She now offers advanced training to develop other practitioners who are in need of mentoring and remedial advice.
